Celebrate Canada Day in Orillia with a jam-packed schedule of exciting events and activities for the whole family! The Orillia Canada Day Committee is hard at work organizing a spectacular lineup to honour our nation's birthday in style and we hope you will attend.
Join us as we make our return to Couchiching Beach Park at our scenic waterfront for a traditional flag-raising ceremony, pancake breakfast, our annual free cake giveaway courtesy of our friends at Mariposa Market, our Children’s Village with plenty of fun for the kids and maybe even a visit from their favourite superhero’s (or villains!).
We have plans for live music performances by local artists, you can indulge in delicious food from various vendors, and explore interactive booths offering games and crafts for all ages, plus we are hopeful that our parade will return to the days’ festivities.
Of course, you don't want to miss the highlight of the day – a dazzling fireworks display lighting up the night sky at around 10:00 PM, creating a breathtaking spectacle to end the celebrations on a high note – don’t forget to buy your souvenir button which helps support our celebration.
While we are very excited to announce this year's Canada Day celebrations, we need your help!
