All-candidates meetings coming up in Ramara

Five meetings scheduled ahead of Oct. 24 election

Editor's Note: One of the dates for one of the events has been changed since this article was published.

Due to a council meeting conflict, the Ramona Hall all-candidates meeting has been moved to Thursday, Oct. 6 from 7 to 9:30 p.m.

ORIGINAL STORY:
The Ramara Chamber of Commerce is hosting five all-candidates meetings in various parts of the township.

Candidates for mayor, deputy mayor, and school board trustees will speak at each meeting, while councillor candidates will only speak at the meetings focused on their wards.

The first meeting (Ward 1) will take place Sept. 26 at the Ramona Hall from 7 to 9:30 p.m.

Ward 2 candidates will be featured at the second meeting, taking place Sept. 27 at the Udney Hall from 7 to 9:30 p.m.

On Sept. 28, a meeting for Ward 4 candidates will happen at the Brechin legion from 7 to 9:30 p.m.

Ward 3 candidates will take part in a meeting Oct. 2 at the Ramara Centre from 2 to 4:30 p.m.

The final meeting, for Ward 5 candidates, will take place Oct. 4 at the Lagoon City Community Centre from 7 to 9:30 p.m.

Meetings will begin with introductions from candidates, followed by written questions from the panel or moderator, provided either in advance or from the audience.

The meetings will end with closing comments from candidates.
