OrilliaMatters, in partnership with the SPCA Orillia Animal Centre, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Kent

Hi, my name is Kent and I’m a three-year-old Labrador mix. I’m a super handsome guy, with a really interesting coat, who loves making new human friends.

I always have a smile on my face and love to enjoy the outdoors as much as I can. I’m a big fan of snacks and would definitely benefit from a bit of obedience training.

I came to the Orillia Animal Centre from an Indigenous community, so I have traveled a long way to find my forever home. I really need a family that will be able to keep up with me and all of my energy, and one that is willing to help me fine tune some of my manners.

Sometimes, when I get excited, I like to jump on people, but that just means I really like them. Other times, I can be a couch potato who just wants to relax and have a nap.

I would prefer to be the only canine in the home, as I don’t seem to get along well with others. That being said, I’m hoping to find a family that I can spend all my time with, because I love everyone!

If you think that you have space in your home and heart for me, please come visit me on the adoption floor at the SPCA Orillia Animal Centre. I’ll be waiting patiently to meet you.
