Hello all, I’m Maverick. A 5 yr. old Alaskan Husky. I am a very sweet big boy, weighing in at a whooping 51kg. I am the definition of a gentle giant with my humans. My favorite pass times are going for walks, snuggling and lounging around. I am nothing short of a huge teddy bear. My human friends here at the Centre just love me and can’t understand why I haven’t been adopted yet. I am looking for a home where I can be the only fur baby in the house, I did live with a sister, however I am best suited as an only child. I am a husky, so I would require a fenced in backyard or a family who is active in walking. If you come and meet me, I know you will fall in love with me. All I want is a home for Christmas, where I can provide my humans with lots of love and affection.

The Ontario SPCA and Humane Society is celebrating adoption with its iAdopt for the Holidays campaign, presented by Swiffer®.
