Orillia Matters, in partnership with the SPCA Orillia Animal Centre, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Midnight

Hey there, my name is Midnight and I am a three-year-old male cat. I am a quiet guy who enjoys his alone time but also like spending time with people.

I wouldn’t mind living in a house with smaller humans as long as I have somewhere I can take a break when I need it. I like to play with toys, but only for a short time. I mostly just want to snuggle and take naps.

Coming in to the Orillia Animal Centre was a bit a shock to me, but I soon became comfortable with all the staff and volunteers. I love having places to hide and have time to myself. I also enjoy eating treats and people watching.

Once I am comfortable I will relax, purr and knead my feet. This might take me a bit, but if you’re patient with me it will be worth it.

I’ve tried sharing a space with other felines, and I wasn’t the biggest fan. Though if they had similar personalities to me, I think I would be more tolerant. I would love to meet with you today and see if I would fit in to your household.

Please come visit me today on the adoption floor at the SPCA Orillia Animal Centre. I’ll be waiting to see you!
