CANADA: Another chicken nugget recall due to possible salmonella

Consumers are advised not to consume this product

Sofina Foods Inc. is recalling Compliments brand Chicken Nuggets from the marketplace due to possible salmonella contamination. 

The product has been sold nationally excluding Quebec.

Consumers are advised not to consume this product. If you have this product in your home, you are advised to throw it out or return it to the store where it was purchased.

If you think you became sick from consuming a recalled product, call your doctor.

Food contamined with salmonella may not look or smell spoiled but they can still make you sick. Young children, pregnant women, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems may contract serious and sometimes deadly infections. Healthy people may experience short-term symptoms such as fever, headache, vomiting, nausea, abdominal cramps and diarrhea.
