The new film to be shown as part of the Mariposa Arts Theatre (MAT) Film Night is And the Birds Rained Down.
Here's the scoop about the film from MAT: "Acclaimed director Louise Archambault's elegaic and charming new film depicts three aging hermits in the Quebec countryside whose defiant need to live independently is increasingly endangered by nature, old age, and infirmity."
And the Birds Rained Down was originally scheduled for showing on March 18. However, the date has changed. The film will now play on Wednesday, March 25 at Orillia Galaxy Cinemas (865 West Ridge Boulevard), with showtimes at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Ticket sales are available the day of the showing from 3 to 4 p.m. and again from 6 to 7 p.m. 'at the door', and are just $10 (cash only).
