In fact, polls will be open Oct. 11, 12, 13 and 14 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

You will need both your voter registration card and a piece of ID. The location of the advance poll is on the voter registration card.

Options for identification include photo ID including your name and current address, or two pieces of ID including a voter registration card and some form of government-issued ID, or statement from a utility or bank. You can find more information on ID options here.

Once advance polls close, the next option to vote is on Oct. 21, Election Day, at the polling stations specified on your voter registration card.

You can look up your local election day polling station and your advance polling location by entering your postal code here.

You can also vote by way of a special ballot at an Elections Canada office before Oct. 15 at 6 p.m. The Elections Canada office in Orillia is located in the Metro plaza, 70 Front St. N.; suite 2.
