Julie Ann Lingan, one of Bradford's COVID-19 patients, has been taken off her ventilator and is 'doing great' according to her mother.

Lingan was hospitalized on March 17, after experiencing shortness of breath and testing positive for the virus.

Lingan is in her 30s, had not travelled anywhere recently and has no pre-existing conditions. She contracted the virus through community transmission.

Later that week, on March 25, her husband tested positive for the virus. He is currently self isolating at home.

The couple's young twins tested negative for the virus and are currently staying with their aunt.

Lingan's mother, Marvie Alday, said her daughter is doing well, but still has a fever and is experiencing some delirium after being sedated over the past few weeks. On a positive note, she says Lingan was able to FaceTime with her husband and children on Friday morning.

Alday is asking for prayers for her daughter's full recovery.
