The Orillia Public Library (OPL) is bringing back our annual How-To Festival as part of Culture Days, but with a twist.

Our 2020 OPL How-To Festival will be presented virtually this year! Not sure what to expect from a How-To Festival? It’s a free, cooperative learning experience, which teaches practical, hands-on skills in short sessions presented by local experts.

Previous workshops have included arts and crafts, food & drink, repairs, outdoors and the environment, health and wellness, and home organizing and decorating.

We need you, our talented community members and business owners, to make this year’s virtual event a success! This is our casting call! If you have a skill that you would like to teach in a short instructional video, apply now through our website to be a presenter.

Our 2020 How-To Festival is going online Saturday, Sept. 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and pre-recorded videos will be presented on our Facebook page with a schedule of events available on our website.

The deadline for applications is Monday, Aug. 31, 2020. Have questions? Call us at 705-325-2556 or email [email protected]
