The Orillia Downtown Management Board (ODMB) regrettably announced today that it has officially cancelled the Great Easter Egg Hunt due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic. The City of Orillia has stated that all public gatherings that involve 250 individuals or more will be cancelled, and it is now recommended that gatherings of no more than five people are to occur.

The Great Easter Egg Hunt is a hands-on event that draws a large crowd with many families in attendance. For the safety of everyone involved, Downtown Orillia has made the decision to cancel the event that was due to take place on Saturday, April 11, 2020.

During this time, many of the Downtown Orillia BIA businesses are closed, however, some businesses remain open for take-out and delivery of their products.  Please contact your favourite business for any of your needs.

If you have any questions, you are encouraged to contact the Downtown Orillia office via email at [email protected] or by calling 705-325-3261.
