Two new COVID cases reported in Barrie, Innisfil schools

Two new cases of COVID-19 are being reported today at schools in Barrie and Innisfil.

One case is being reported at W.C. Little Elementary School on Bear Creek Drive in Barrie. No classrooms have been closed as a result of that case.

One new case is also being reported at Alcona Glen Elementary School in Innisfil, with one classroom closed. There has previously been one case at the school reported on Oct. 28, however that case has since recovered.

The schools all remain open.

The school boards and the health unit have not reported whether the individuals are students or staff members.
