YMCA SIMCOE/MUSKOKA

First and foremost, the safety and wellbeing of our members, families, staff, and participants in the communities we serve remain our top priority. At this time, the public health risk remains low in Simcoe County and Ontario, however, the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka is taking swift and decisive action to protect our community and help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
In consultation with our community partners and guidance of our local District Health Unit and Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer, social distancing and avoiding large groups have been recommended as an important line of defence in slowing the spread of COVID-19.
We wish to advise you that the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka has made the difficult decision to close all YMCA Health, Fitness and Aquatics Centres in Simcoe, Muskoka and Parry Sound effective immediately, until Monday, April 6, 2020.
Unfortunately, automatic payments are already in progress until Tuesday, March 17, 2020. These automated payments will be reviewed and adjusted once we have reopened. As of Wednesday, March 18, 2020, until Sunday, April 5, 2020 membership fee payments will no longer be collected at our Centres.
We deeply appreciate your understanding as we navigate the challenging circumstances related to COVID-19. We will continue to monitor this evolving situation and communicate updates as they become available.
