OrilliaMatters received the following letter from Rick Lockman about the state of our economy.

Our economy is not struggling because too many Canadians are working and making too much money. It is struggling because too few are working making too little.
More Canadians working, doing less, is better for our economy than too few working, doing too much.
Working people spend most of their income, recirculating it back into our economy.
Big Business making massive profits do not put a large percentage back into our economy, instead shipping it out of country and to tax havens overseas.
Our elected officials know this and what do they do? They make it easier for large corporations to do so! Living proof that money and power corrupts.
