ORILLIA SOLDIERS' MEMORIAL HOSPITAL

The Orillia division of Allstate Insurance Canada quoted their way to a $1,000 donation to Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital.
For every household who submitted a no-obligation home or auto quote, Allstate Insurance Canada – Orillia donated $25 to the hospital to hit the campaign’s maximum of one thousand dollars.
Orillia Allstate Insurance Manager Tammy Revie said the team was inspired to give back to the community they are part of.
“We believe in supporting the hospital and this was a way for us to be involved,” said Revie. “We are so happy that we were able to raise the maximum campaign donation to help the hospital with equipment needs.”
Marina Genua, OSMH Foundation Development Officer of Annual Giving said the initiative turned what can often be seen as an item on a task list into a great cause for giving.
“Getting an insurance quote doesn’t always spark joy, but this campaign was a fun way to have community members feel good about getting their insurance needs taken care of,” said Genua.
“We are so happy to have great local businesses like Orillia Allstate Insurance coming forward to benefit the community with a great cause like this.”
The quote to donate campaign ran in April and the funds raised will go a long way to fulfilling equipment needs at OSMH.
