ORILLIA FIGURE SKATING CLUB

Ashley Allen is 16 years old and skates on the Gold session at the Orillia Figure Skating Club. Ashley was recently named the Skater of the Month for June and the Skater of the Year for her success in competition and tests passed throughout the year.
Ashley has completed her gold skills and is currently working on her senior silver free skate and gold dances. She is coached by Tracey Zwiers. Ashley attends Patrick Fogarty Catholic High School where she participates in the school band.
Awards from our annual Skating Banquet honouring our skater’s achievements:
President’s Trophy
This trophy is awarded for dedication to skating and club activities, and for showing continual improvement in skating. This year's recipient is a skater who has demonstrated excellence, commitment to our sport and displays a strong character both on and off the ice.
This young skater has had a successful competition season. She is a dedicated program assistant who shares her love of skating with our young skaters and is a role model for many of our up and coming figure skaters. Jenna Lee is the recipient.
Each year the Orillia FSC is able to nominate a few members for some awards that our recognized by Skate Ontario.

Most Improved Skater Awards
- Our Most Improved skater on the bronze session is Zlata Zaitseva
- Most improved silver skater is Megan Woodley
- Most improved gold skater is a tie; Zack Frankum and Hailey Irwin
A Big Thank you to our volunteer program assistants who help with Can Skate and Pre-Can Skate. We really appreciate your dedication to helping our young skaters progress and we thank you for all the extra hours you spend at the rink!
Skater of the Year Awards
