Express Yourself Performing Arts is preparing to stage its production of Roald Dahl’s James and the Giant Peach this summer.
But, first, they are looking for people interested in starring in the local show.
Auditions for lead roles will be held Saturday, Dec. 7 at 11:30 a.m. at the West Ridge Early Education Centre on University Avenue.
For those wishing to be in the ensemble, you are asked to attend a meeting at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at St. Paul’s Centre, at the corner of Peter and Coldwater Streets.
James and the Giant Peach is based on the beloved book by Roald Dahl and tells the story of a young orphaned child who finds a loving family in a most peculiar way.
James and his unlikely crew go on an epic journey and discover that families come in many different shapes and sizes.
The show is being staged by directors Julia Johnston and Janet Loveday with choreographer Nicole Farrer.
