Local hikers from the Orillia chapter of the Ganaraska Hiking Club enjoyed a great day Saturday at Hardy Lake, a provincial park near Bala.
This hike is an easy to moderate one that rewards the hiker with fantastic views of autumn colours while going around a small lake. It takes about an hour to get to the park and the eight-kilometre hike around the lake required about 3 1/2 hours.
