Scholarly Elite Tutoring and Hybrid High School is on a mission to make education accessible to every student.
As Barrie and Simcoe County’s first-ever Hybrid High School Scholarly Elite introduces a revolutionary approach to learning.
Focused on individualized instruction this board-accredited program enables students to earn any credit towards the completion of their Ontario Secondary School Diploma while still attending their traditional high school (or as a mature student).
This blended learning model elicits excellent results in knowledge retention and helps to improve grades in any desired subject. Students can learn both at Scholarly Elite’s lakefront studio located at 201-A Tynhead Road in Barrie or can receive tutoring in their own homes.
Scholarly Elite tutors and educators teach in homes throughout Simcoe County and the Greater Toronto Area to best accommodate students’ busy schedules.
Driven by the guiding principle of respect for student individuality Scholarly Elite builds personalized plans for student success. These plans ensure learners are able to master skillsets they may have otherwise struggled to grasp in a classroom environment. Students choose to earn credits with Scholarly
Elite for many reasons including: finding the pace of in-class learning too stressful, being an athlete with a dedicated training schedule, homeschool continuation or a desire to make strong grades before starting the highly competitive university and college
application process.
Scholarly Elite completes a full assessment of each student’s needs to build a unique educational plan and place the necessary supports before beginning any course.
Educators work one-on-one with students to teach course lessons at their preferred pace. Learners then use the knowledge from their in-person sessions to complete assignments and tests on their own time over the course of 5 to 18 months. Every Hybrid High School student is also provided with free 24/7 access to online tutoring support as part of their learning package.
Upon fulfilling the required criteria for their course the final grade is then placed onto the student’s transcript at their traditional school. Universities and colleges do not differentiate between the grades earned at brick-and-mortar schools and those completed through the Hybrid system.
This affords students the opportunity to raise their marks in specific subjects creating greater educational freedom and opportunities for their future advancement.
