Boil water advisory issued for some residents on Victoria Crescent

The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit has issued a boil water advisory effective March 23, 2021 for the following area:
    •    167B to 243 Victoria Cres.

Notices have been hand-delivered door to door to the affected residents. It is anticipated the boil water advisory will be in effect until Thursday, March 25, 2021.

The boil water advisory has been issued following a recent watermain break on Victoria Crescent that was fully repaired on March 22 and 23, 2021. 

Until further notice, we ask that the residents in this area please bring your water to a rapid boil for a minimum of one (1) minute or seek an alternative source of safe drinking water, such as bottled water. The City is working with the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit, as well as the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks, to review the situation and ensure that the water delivered to you is safe.
