Orillia OPP report Rama Road has reopened.

Orillia OPP provided an update late this afternoon.
Orillia Const. Martin Hill, at the scene of today's head-on crash on Rama Road, said police are investigating the "serious" collision.
Hill said one person was airlifted to a Toronto hospital with serious injuries, but is in stable condition. Four other people, "with various degrees of injuries," were taken to Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital.
Hill said OPP Central Region reconstructionists remain on the scene "to try to figure out what happened."
As of 4:30 p.m., Rama Road remained closed, in both directions, from Highway 12 to Monck Road.

A head-on collision at around 1:15 p.m. today on Rama Road has led to what appears to be serious injuries for an undisclosed number of people.
One person reported four ambulances had been dispatched to the scene, while another person reported that one of the victims had been air-lifted to a Toronto hospital.
Local police officials could not confirm those details.
Orillia OPP Const. Martin Hill said he could not provide any details about the accident.
However, OPP Central Region Tweeted at 2:15 p.m. that the closure of Rama Road had been extended to the stretch of the two-lane road between Monck Road and Highway 12. The collision happened just south of Monck Road.
It is unknown how long the road will be closed for the investigation, but police suggest people use an alternate route.
