ORILLIA AND AREA COMMUNITY WELLBEING SURVEY

It’s the final push! The Orillia and Area Community Wellbeing Survey closes July 6.

If you received a survey invitation and reminder postcard in the mail, you can complete the survey online and enter the draw for one of eight $250 pre-paid Visa cards. If you require assistance completing the survey, or need a paper copy, contact Information Orillia at 705-326-7743.

As you may be aware, your municipalities, health agencies, and community organizations 1 launched a Community Wellbeing Survey in mid-May to better understand your perceptions of the quality of life, or wellbeing, in Orillia and area. A random sample of 25% of the households in Orillia, Severn, Ramara, and Oro-Medonte received survey invitations in the mail. People who did not complete the survey in May received reminder postcards.

After the survey closes, the Canadian Index of Wellbeing Network at the University of Waterloo will analyze the data and create a report, which will be available on Information Orillia’s website this fall.

Using information in the report, people can strive to improve wellbeing in Orillia and area.
