Victoria Ignoto, owner of Sweet Time Bake Shoppe, is proving to be as sweet as her baked goods.

Effective Feb. 1, Sweet Time will offer a new initiative in joint partnership with Couchiching Jubilee House called “Cookies & Cupcakes for a Cause.”

Each month, the bakery will have a special selection of delicious cupcakes and cookies for purchase with all net profits benefiting Jubilee House, a charity supporting homeless women and children.

The fundraiser will run every month of the year with new flavours each month to choose from.

“On the heels of our Fearless Females campaign, it’s exciting to see another female-owned business launch in Orillia,” says Courtney Willis, the development coordinator for Couchiching Jubilee House.

“These female leaders are inspiring our clients and we want to foster as many relationships as we can with local woman like Victoria. As soon as I met her, I knew we could make great partners on a fundraising opportunity. She has a huge heart and philanthropic spirit.”

The special selection of cupcakes and cookies can be added to any order and make a great treat for Valentine’s Day.

“I am honoured to be involved with this charity and excited to help in any way I can,” says Ignoto. “Orillia has been so welcoming and supportive, I want to give back.”
