COUNTY OF SIMCOE

County of Simcoe Paramedic Services kicked off the 20th annual Toy Drive on Nov. 18, 2022, so far collecting more than 630 toys, 80 pounds of food, and $1,350 in cash and gift cards.
The Toy Drive benefits local children and families during the holiday season. Donations, along with new, unwrapped toys and food, will be accepted at various locations across Simcoe County. Visit simcoe.ca/toydrive to learn more.
Paramedics continue to remind residents that a little goes a long way and that virtual donations can be made at www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/simcoe-county-paramedic-association.
Over the next week, paramedics will be collecting donations at the following locations:
Thursday, Dec. 1, 2022
Clearview Tree Lighting in Stayner — 5 to 7 p.m.
Friday, Dec. 2, 2022
Midland Walmart — 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022
Orillia Walmart — 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Wasaga Beach Walmart — 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Coldwater Foodland — 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Coldwater Santa Claus Parade — begins at 5:30 p.m.
Stayner Santa Claus Parade — begins at 11 a.m.
Creemore Santa Claus Parade — begins at 1:30 p.m.
Tottenham Festival of Lights — 3 to 7 p.m.
Sunday, Dec. 4, 2022
Moonstone Santa Claus Parade — begins at 1 p.m.
Lisle Santa Claus Parade — begins at 1:30 p.m.
Donations can also be made at the County of Simcoe Administration Centre, 1110 Hwy. 26 in Midhurst, and at all County of Simcoe Paramedic Services stations, where outdoor drop boxes are now available. (Please do not leave monetary donations in drop boxes — only non-perishable food items and new, unwrapped toys.)
