********************
On Tuesday, April 30, 2019, Dr. Bryan Smale, Director of the Canadian Index of Wellbeing from the University of Waterloo, will be presenting the highlights of the Orillia And Area Canadian Index of Wellbeing Final Report.

It is the culmination of the Orillia And Area Canadian Index Of Wellbeing survey that was completed in June and July 2018  in conjunction with our funding and participating partners: City of Orillia, Orillia Police Services Board, County of Simcoe,  Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit, North Simcoe Muskoka LHIN and the Townships of Severn, Oro-Medonte and Ramara.

Its purpose was to definitively measure the “quality of life” or “wellbeing” in our community.

The information from this report can and will be used for a variety of purposes including: the development of a Community Safety and Wellbeing Plan by municipalities, community sustainability plans, strategic plans as well as supporting not-for-profit grant applications.

You are cordially invited to this final report presentation, starting at 1:15 p.m. in the City of Orillia Council Chambers, 50 Andrew St. S., Orillia.

RSVP Nicolette Hawco ([email protected]) at Information Orillia.
