There was free admission to this weekend's 26th annual Simcoe Spring Home and Cottage Show at the Barnfield Point Recreation Centre.

However show attendees were asked, in lieu of an admission fee, to make a donation to the Building Hope campaign that includes the construction of a new homeless shelter for men, women and children, in addition to associated amenities on Queen Street.

Each person who made a donation had their name put in a draw for multiple door prizes.

The big winner was Bob Graham of Severn Township, who went home with a  55” 4K flat screen television, courtesy of Wagner Lawn Care.
