East Side Mario's dishes up helping of cash for children's safety village

Second annual event was a huge success; Kiwanis Club thankful for community's support

A fundraising dinner at East Side Mario's raised $1,834 for the Kiwanis Children's Safety Village. Retired OPP Const. Gerry Dwyer, the founder of the village and executive member, accepted the cheque from East Side Mario’s manager Rose Hurtubise with Orillia OPP Const. Marcel Marriott.


This year, East Side Mario’s fundraising dinner raised $1,834 for the Kiwanis Children’s Safety Village.

This is the second year East Side Mario’s has held the event. The event was a huge success with another $300 in cash being donated by customers.

The Kiwanis Safety Village would like to thank: East Side Mario’s owner John Epstein, manager Rose Hurtubise, and their staff for the outstanding dedication and service to kid’s safety programs in our community.
