Cook the Books
Begins Thursday, October 4 to Thursday, December 6 at 6:30 p.m.
Get together with your fellow food-enthusiasts and put a cookbook to the test!  A new cookbook will be selected from the library’s collection the first Thursday of the month and you pick a recipe (or two!) to try.  Share your experience with the recipe at the next meeting, such as what worked, what didn’t, a new favourite, etc.

Card Masters
Brechin Branch | Tuesdays 3:30 to 6 p.m.
Kids:  are you a fan of Pokemon, hockey, baseball or other collectible cards?  Why not come and meet other friends to show off your collection, make trades, talk about your favourites, or play a friendly game.  Would you rather play a regular game with a deck of cards?  You are welcome to do that too!

Beat Your Boredom
Brechin Branch | Thursdays 3:30 to 8 p.m.
Join us after school for colouring, board games, computer time, Lego creations and more!

New Scavenger Saturdays @ Your Library
Drop by either branch on Saturdays to pick up a scavenger sheet at the front desk.  Each month you will have fun finding different characters such as Pokémon, Disney Princesses, etc.

Why not participate in Legomania while you’re there as it is still available at both branches all day on Saturdays as well!

Skinamarink Story Time
Friday, Oct. 5 to Nov. 30 at 10:30 a.m.

Welcome back fall!  With the new season, your story time is back!  Rebecca is looking forward to welcoming families, as well as new faces, to have fun at the library!  Join in the fun by singing songs, using your senses, reading stories and socializing with others.

In celebration of Fire Prevention Week (Friday, Oct. 12), join Rebecca and a local firefighter to celebrate our local heroes in a special story time with our friends!  Registration preferred; however, drop-ins welcome.
