YMCA OF SIMCOE/MUSKOKA

In celebration of Family Day, the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka will be opening its doors to the community on Monday, Feb. 18. This free open house will feature various activities for the whole family in seven YMCA locations across Simcoe/Muskoka.
“We’re encouraging parents to bring their families to the Y on Family Day to participate in free activities for the whole family to enjoy,” said Karen Pulla, Vice President, Health, Fitness and Aquatics, YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka. “It’s the perfect day to celebrate good health and wellbeing while connecting with friends and neighbours all under one roof.”
Activity highlights for each YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka location include:
- The Barrie YMCA will feature a fun-filled day of arts and crafts, family yoga, wheelchair basketball, a lifesaving sport demonstration and a family swim
- The Collingwood YMCA is running exciting programs throughout the day including family swim, family basketball, and open gym
- At the Gravenhurst YMCA, you’re invited to spend the day enjoying activities such as Drums Alive, family yoga and family swim
- The Innisfil YMCA invites you and your family for a free community swim and open gym
- The Midland YMCA’s schedule is packed with exciting family programs including open swim, and open gym. *Crock A Doodle will also be visiting the Y for family pottery painting (*fees apply)
- Join the Orillia YMCA for a bake sale and face painting, family open swim, kids crafts and science activities, family Zumba, fitness challenges, family yoga and more
- The Wasaga Beach YMCA is excited to participate once again in Snowman Mania, where you can enjoy a fun-filled day of activities for parents and children of all ages
