Couchiching Heights Public School's annual spring fundraiser is slated for June 1. On the menu are games, fun and hot dogs and hamburgers.

Couchiching Heights Public School is hosting “a huge fundraising event” on June 1, says Jennifer Larsen, the chair of the school council.

She said many things “we need in the school comes from our council’s fundraising efforts and from our generous sponsors around our community.”

With that in mind, she’s hoping the community will support the cause by opening their hearts and wallets for their annual spring fundraiser, which will be held at the school from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on June 1.

The main event is a “huge vendor sale” in the school gym.

There will also be a silent auction and a 50/50 draw.

In addition, there will be fun games, face painting and great food is also on the menu - including hamburgers, hot dogs, cotton candy and more.

Larsen said funds raised will go toward improved outdoor learning spaces, technology in the classrooms, field trips and other general school needs.

Couchiching Heights is located at 455 Laclie Street.
