The Downtown Orillia Management Board would like to invite you to shop local this Black Friday in downtown Orillia.
Visit the unique shops and restaurants that make downtown Orillia truly one-of-a-kind and take advantage of unbeatable one-day sales on quality goods that you won't find anywhere else.
"Based on the success of past year's Black Friday sales, we are pleased to announce that our association and members will be participating in Black Friday once again," said Courtney Thompson, Event & Marketing Director at the DOMB.
"Our business owners are constantly sourcing new product lines that are on trend, so a shopping campaign like Black Friday is a great way to promote our wonderful downtown businesses and their unique products," she said.
"Small businesses add vitality to our neighbourhoods and main streets, so it is essential that we support them. We hope that people will shop locally on Nov. 23 and show their support for their local downtown businesses," continued Thompson.
The downtown office will also be selling downtown dollars, which are equivalent to cash, this coming Friday at 50% off beginning at 9 am. Be sure to get these while quantities last and remember to bring cash only.
In addition on the evening of the 23rd is a new late-night shopping event, Stuff Your Stocking Night from 5 to 9 p.m. Shop late and find exceptional gifts in over 20 businesses open late for shoppers to browse, shop and enjoy holiday treats.
This Friday, gather friends, family and co-workers together and come downtown for a full day and evening of shopping, dining, exclusive deals and even some treats, if you’ve been good all year that is!
