NEWS RELEASE
NORTH COUNTRY BAPTIST CHURCH
***********************

You are invited to Haircuts for Missions.

The North Country Baptist Church is offering haircuts for two days this week and all they are asking for in return is a donation that will be used to fund their missions program.

A hairstylist with more than 12 years of experience will be on hand to provide cuts on Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Organizers, who note the timing is perfect for those heading back to school, say there is a comfortable waiting area and lots of free parking.

“This great opportunity is available for people of all ages on a first-come, first-served basis,” an official said.

The church is located at (4011 Burnside Line) the corner of Burnside Line and Division Road.

Pastor Len Crow has been participating in his fundraising horseback adventures for many years.

The Ride for Missions is a series of endurance-style rides used to raise awareness for the plight of children around the world who are in need of a stable home environment where they will be safe from disease, hunger and exploitation.

The next ride is slated to start next month and will trace the infamous Trail of Tears from Oklahoma to North Carolina; many Indigenous people have lost their lives in that area.

If you have any questions, visit the church’s Facebook page or call Amanda at 705-350-0518.
