NEWS RELEASE
TOWNSHIP OF RAMARA
*************************
The Township of Ramara has launched a new community engagement and project page, 'Have your Say,' on the township's website. The township's previous engagement site, Reach Out Ramara, will no longer be active after Dec. 8, 2021.

"The goal of Council and staff at the Township of Ramara is to provide meaningful engagement in the decision-making process to residents, businesses and stakeholders," reports Mayor Basil Clarke.

"Before our new website was launched, Reach Out Ramara provided residents with an updated interactive platform that allowed the public to identify needs and priorities in the community and engage on the latest issues, projects, and events," said Clarke.

"With the launch of our new Ramara website in August of 2020, staff felt that the township could save money, close to $8,000 per year, by utilizing the features of our new site while still providing a platform that can update residents and allow them to provide comments and feedback on projects, issues and events."

To visit our new page, please visit www.ramara.ca/haveyoursay/. Residents can subscribe to each project page to get informed by email on project updates. Residents can also visit our Stay Informed page to find out how to be informed on projects, notices, road closures, media releases, council highlights and events in the community. "The Township of Ramara is committed to involving citizens, businesses and stakeholders in conversations about municipal decisions," advises Acting CAO Zach Drinkwalter.

"There are many ways for the public to have their say and get involved, whether it is listening to a Council meeting, taking a survey online, voicing opinions to staff or Council members, and subscribing to many of our communication documents," said Drinkwalter. "I encourage residents to reach out and find out all the ways they can get involved."

Check out our new community engagement page, Have your Say, and provide your input on our 2022 budget, Concession Road 10 renaming, Ramara Road 47 trail development and more.
