Hospice Orillia is excited to be partnering with Fionn MacCool’s and the Grape and Olive for the first annual Plate for Hospice taking place on Nov. 21.

Guests will be able to enjoy a three-course meal for a set rate all while helping a good cause.

“For us, this was something that we wanted to do to give back as Hospice Orillia helps so many people in our community," said Simon MacRae, general manager of Fionn MacCool’s.

The community of Orillia is welcome to come out and join us on Nov. 21 for dinner at either Fionn MacCool’s or the Grape and Olive to show their support for Hospice Orillia.

“Having the support of the community means to world to us,” said Amanda Tevelde, communications and fundraising co-ordinator for Hospice Orillia.

“As an organization that provides programs free of charge to our clients, we rely on not only the time our volunteers invest with us but also the financial support we receive from the community,” said Tevelde.

“We are excited to be able to donate back to Hospice Orillia,” McRae added. “Our goal is to be able to raise $1,000 between the two restaurants. We will also be accepting additional donations during the Plate for Hospice to help us reach our goal.”

Hospice Orillia is a community-based hospice that offers practical, emotional, and spiritual support to those in our community coping with advanced illness, death, and bereavement.
