Jason’s No Frills is helping Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital (OSMH) improve care for children. Proceeds from their annual Point of Sale campaign will be going towards the hospital’s Outpatient Pediatric Project.

“We’re so thankful to have the ongoing support of outstanding community partners like Jason’s No Frills,” said Nicole Kraftscik, Senior Development Officer. “We’re one step closer to the completion of our Outpatient Pediatric Project thanks to their generosity.”

The Hospital’s Outpatient Pediatric Program, which includes childhood cancer care, juvenile diabetes, eating disorder care, asthma, mental health and more, is currently located at three different sites. Plans are underway to move all of these services to the second floor of OSMH as part of the hospital’s greater movement to 'wrap care' around the patient.

Now kids who use multiple services of the program will spend less time at the hospital, and enjoy a transformed family friendly space that includes a gym, murals, iPads and new toys.

“It’s our staff and customers who truly make these campaigns successful, and allow us to support important causes like our local hospital,” said Jason King, Owner, Jason’s No Frills. “We’re excited to see how this year’s point of sale campaign can have a positive impact on patient care.”

Customers interested in supporting the campaign will be able to buy a No Frills icon in support of the hospital upon checkout. The promotion runs until Aug. 9.
