As the Leacock Museum Master Plan study comes to a close, project staff and TCI Management Consultants will hold two public consultations on Jan. 30 to discuss their findings and draft recommendations.

The study was initiated in 2019 to provide a revised context for operations based on current trends, the unique features of the site, community needs, and municipal requirements.

“This is an exciting opportunity for the museum to look ahead to the future,” said Mayor Steve Clarke. “We are looking to the Master Plan to help us chart a path forward, building on the unique nature of the site, establishing the house and grounds as an attractive year-round venue for the benefit of future generations.”

Two consultation sessions are being held on Thursday, Jan. 30, before a final report is brought to Council.

When: Thursday, Jan. 30
2 p.m. (first session)
6 p.m. (second session)

Where: Swanmore Hall
50 Museum Dr., Orillia

Space is limited. Please RSVP with your preferred session by emailing Jen Martynyshyn, Museum Coordinator, at [email protected], or through the form available at leacockmuseum.com and the Museum’s Facebook page.
