CFUW provided $16,000 in scholarships to 20 students; applications now available for 2019 scholarships

Earlier this year, the Canadian Federation of University Women awarded 20 scholarships totalling $16,000 to deserving female students who began post- secondary studies this past fall.

The students were required to fill in a comprehensive application providing transcripts, school and community involvement, future goals and references.

The 2018 winners were: Amanda Davidson, Rachel Cameron, Ashlynn Groves, Erin Parna-Gile, Genevieve Sammon, Allie Veater, Dakota Wagner, Sarah Terry, Edan McFadden, Brittany McDonald, Meghan Matys, Madeline MacNeal, Scotlynn Jones, Estella Crosby, Hannah Beddow, Franki Croft, Meghan Goodall, Karley Rynard, Morgan Vickers and Julia Betsworth. 

These students will be servers at our 2019 Homes Tour Tea.

In honour of CFUW’s 100th anniversary, CFUW Orillia is offering a $1,000 scholarship to the winning entry of our essay contest.
