The Orillia Spring Job Fair is on tap today at the Orillia Public Library.
“We have 22 businesses attending and many will be interviewing/hiring on-site,” said Amanda Kelly, the business and community liaison consultant at Georgian College.
She said the job fair is an opportunity to speak directly with employers who are hiring in the local area, to find out more information about current and future positions and an ideal forum in which to “network and market your skills directly to employers.”
Kelly encourages job seekers to bring their resumes and be prepared to be interviewed for full-time, part-time and other opportunities.
“We have a range of positions available including landscaping, welding, construction, customer service, administrative, PSW, ECE, security, general labour, marina staff and food services,” she said.
Among the employers that will be on hand are:
- Orillia Volkswagen
- Orillia Central Preschool
