Motorcyle Ride for Dad set to roar through city streets Saturday

Looking for a cause to support this weekend? Ride along with hundreds of participants in this year’s Telus Motorcycle Ride for Dad Huronia.

The mission of the TELUS Ride For Dad is to raise funds to save men’s lives by supporting prostate cancer research and raising public awareness of the disease.

Early registration opens Friday, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 34 on 215 Mississaga St. E.

Ride day registration opens at the Legion Saturday morning at 7 a.m., with the ride beginning at 10 a.m. sharp.

Riders will go up Colborne Street and then cruise along Memorial Avenue; there may be some traffic delays while riders go through the route. Ride organizers request and appreciate residents’ patience.
