Neither snow, nor cold can stop these hardy hikers!

Hardy bunch enjoys hiking the Slessor Tract in Severn Township
2019-01-19 ganaraska hike
A few hardy members of the Orillia chapter of the Ganaraska Hiking Club braved frigid temperatures as they hiked the Slessor Tract of the Simcoe County Forest, off Division Road just north of the Orillia Square mall. The group is pictured in front of an old tree that has been a favourite with forest walkers for decades, as evidenced by the ribbons and scarves that lend decoration. Snow is still not deep and hikers wore icers, and extra layers of clothing to combat the cold. Anyone is welcome to join us on our hikes.
