Planning is underway for the 2nd installment of Jubilee House’s Fearless Females calendar. Featuring women in Orillia and surrounding catchment areas, the calendar serves a dual purpose: to raise critical funds towards programs supporting vulnerable women and children, and to advocate for women as part of an ongoing effort to champion women's equality.
"Last years campaign was very successful, raising over $10,000 in revenue. It also shone a spotlight on our community "everyday hero’s and provided an opportunity to share their stories." says development coordinator Courtney Willis Talented local photographer, Greg Thomson, of Greg Thomson Photography, will lead the creative direction again this year and volunteer his services for the cause.
Calendars will retail for $20 each and a limited number will be produced for purchase. If you wish to nominate a woman you believe is ‘fearless’ you may do so by filling out the form on the organizations website www.jubileehouse.ca or emailing [email protected].
Women from Orillia and surrounding catchment areas are eligible for nomination.
