Noted prostate cancer researcher to speak in Orillia next week

Dr. Hans Chung, a well-known and respected researcher/clinician at the Sunnybrook Odette Cancer Centre, Toronto, will be speaking at the Orillia Prostate Cancer Group meeting next week.

As chief investigator in several research projects, he will speak on the many variations of radiotherapy for prostate cancer. He is studying a focal salvage HDR brachytherapy after local recurrence from brachytherapy.

For this study, he will receive a grant from this year’s Huronia Motorcyle Ride for Dad.

The free meeting is at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 34 on Tuesday, May 21. Doors open for all at 6:30 p.m. and the speaker begins at 7 p.m. Light refreshments will be available.
