Public Health Ontario reported 326 new COVID cases today.
The latest updates noted 369 recoveries and zero new deaths.
The Oct. 25 updates provided by the province's public health agency and the ministry of health also reported the following data:
- 3,215 active, lab-confirmed cases, down from 3,258 yesterday.
- 163 people are hospitalized with COVID-19, but the number is not complete as more than 10 per cent of hospitals don't report to the daily bed census on weekends.
- There are 109 COVID-positive patients in the ICU plus another 29 patients no longer testing positive for COVID-19.
- There are 71 COVID-positive patients on ventilators and another 23 patients on ventilators no longer testing positive for COVID.
- 10,937,705 Ontarians (about 74 per cent of the total population) have been fully vaccinated. 88 per cent of eligible Ontarians have at least one dose of vaccine.
- Included in the new cases are 183 unvaccinated, seven partially vaccinated, and 95 fully vaccinated individuals. 41 cases are listed with the vaccination status unknown.
- The vaccination status for hospitalized COVID-19 patients is not updated on Mondays.
- The seven-day average incidence rate by vaccination status is six cases per 100,000 unvaccinated people, 2.5 cases per 100,000 partially vaccinated people, and 1.1 cases per 100,000 fully vaccinated people.
- The province reported 18,397 tests were processed yesterday, resulting in a 1.6 per cent positivity rate.
- Of the new cases reported today, 39 are from Toronto, 33 are from Peel, 10 are from Simcoe-Muskoka, and 31 are from York Region.
- Today's new cases include 86 individuals under 12 years old, 35 youth between 12 and 19 years old, 88 people between 20 and 39 years old, 70 people between 40 and 59 years old, 38 people between 60 and 79 years old, and eight people over 79 years old.
Public Health Ontario has confirmed 597,841 cases of COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic, and reported 584,780 recoveries and 9,846 deaths.
Since the start of the pandemic, 30,468 people have been hospitalized with COVID and 5,966 of them were in intensive care units.
The cumulative average incidence rate in the province is 4,057.6 cases per 100,000 people in Ontario.
Ontario's average weekly incidence rate last week was 18.7 cases per 100,000 people, which is down by 9.2 per cent compared to the week of Oct. 9.

Simcoe-Muskoka
Friday, the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit reported 13 new COVID cases.
There are currently 152 active cases in the region.
Eight people from Simcoe County are hospitalized with COVID-19.
Since the start of the pandemic, the local health unit has confirmed 13,872 cases of COVID-19 with 13,457 of those cases recovered and 263 cases ending in death.
The region's weekly incidence rate is 17.5 cases per 100,000 for the week beginning Oct. 15, which is down by 2.2 per cent with the week beginning Oct. 9.
