ORILLIA CONCERT ASSOCIATION

The Orillia Concert Association will begin selling subscriptions for the 2018-2019 season in April and once again is offering free tickets to its final concert of the current season for new subscribers to next year's season.
A subscription for all five concerts is available for only $90 ($30 for students). For over 70 years, the Orillia Concert Association has presented beautiful, professional music that has enriched and inspired musical audiences in Orillia.
Their last concert of the season will be on Sunday, May 6, at 2:30 p.m. at the Orillia Opera House, featuring perennial favourites Kerry Stratton and the Toronto Concert Orchestra.
The OCA audience has enjoyed Mr. Stratton and his talented, versatile orchestra as a regular part of each season for over 20 years, and can look forward to another Kerry Stratton extravaganza featuring show tunes from the stage and movies: Raiders of the Lost Ark, Sound of Music, Porgy and Bess, Les Miserables, West Side Story, Warsaw Concerto and more.
Here is the exciting line-up for the 2018-2019 Concert Series:
- Oct. 21, 2018 - Chamber Music's greatest hits, TakeFive ensemble - Piano and strings
- Nov. 18, 2018 - Virtuoso Violin - Arkady Yanivker - Violin and Piano
- Feb. 3, 2019 - Project Aria - Guy Few, trumpet, Stephanie Mara, piano, Leslie Fagan, soprano
- March 3, 2019 - Tribute to Rick Wilkins - Ensemble Vivant Octet
- May 5, 2019 - The Age of Elegance - Toronto Concert Orchestra, Kerry Stratton -Haydn and Hummel
