The Orillia Kings Jr. B lacrosse team will be hosting its annual general meeting later this month.
The Kings play in the Ontario Lacrosse Association. Rob Blasdell is the team’s general manager, while Jim Meredith is the head coach and Robert McDonald serves as assistant coach.
Experience Nissan is the title sponsor of the team, which is run entirely by volunteers.
The current executive members include:
Joe Campbell (president)
Brenda Morris (treasurer)
Sue Morris (director of sponsorship)
Ann McDonald (director of fundraising
Laurie Bax (director of bingo)
Sue Krawczuk (director at large)
Andy Fraser (director at large/golf tournament organizer)
Allan Groves (director at large)
If you are interested in junior lacrosse in Orillia and/or want to volunteer or learn more, you are welcome at the annual general meeting. The meeting will be held Sunday, Sept. 30 at 2 p.m. at Rotary Place.
