Orillia Public Library's Family Department has partnered with several local downtown businesses to present a week-long Downtown Story Walk!

It all begins at the Library with the first few pages from the hilarious picture book, Is Everybody Ready for Fun?, by Jan Thomas. Then, set off for a walk through vibrant downtown Orillia to continue reading the story through the windows of 14 local businesses. The story is available for viewing downtown until Tuesday, Nov. 30.

Story Walks are an interactive way for children to learn new words, describe things and events, learn how to follow a story in sequence, and move their bodies! Take or draw a picture of your favourite part of the story or the Story Walk and email it to [email protected] to be entered to win a prize.
Call the Library’s Family Department at 705-325-2559 for more information.
