ORILLIA PROSTATE CANCER AWARENESS GROUP

All are invited to come out to Orillia Prostate Cancer Awareness Group’s next meeting.
Dr. Adam Gladwish, a radiation oncologist at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital and the Simcoe Muskoka Regional Cancer Centre in Barrie, will be talking about prostate cancer, radiation therapy and new research that has shown radiation can be used successfully in treating patients whose cancer has spread beyond the prostate gland.
Gladwish will be at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 34, at 215 Mississaga St. E., on Thursday, Dec. 6. Doors will open at 6.30 p.m. and the talk will start at 7 p.m.
Light refreshments will be provided.
