NEWS RELEASE
TOWNSHIP OF ORO-MEDONTE
***********************

This year, the Township of Oro-Medonte is offering three ways for a voter to cast their ballot: by Internet, by phone, or by paper ballot.

In early October voters received, by mail, their Voter Notification Letters. This letter contains the required voter credentials, along with the website and phone number to access ballots by Internet or phone.

Today is the first day voters can vote via phone or Internet. This can be done up until 8 p.m. on Election Day, Oct. 22.

Voters are reminded if they are casting a ballot by telephone, they are required to only enter the last 8 digits of their Voter ID Number, not the entire Voter ID Number.

Residents can also vote by Internet and Phone at a Voter Help Centre:

  • October 12 at 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • October 15 to 19 - 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • October 22 at 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

  • October 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Township’s Administration Centre
  • October 22 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Mount St. Louis Moonstone
