Public hike at Scout Valley a go for Saturday morning

Ganaraska Hiking Trail Association event will go ahead as planned despite late season storm

NEWS RELEASE
GANARASKA HIKING TRAIL ASSOCIATION

Neither snow nor ice nor a late gasp from Old Man Winter can slow down local hikers!
The Ganaraska Hiking Trail Association’s Orillia Club is going ahead with its planned public hike on Saturday to kick off the 50th anniversary celebrations of the Ganaraska Hiking Trail Association. There will be information about the hiking club, a draw for a free membership and information about the series of beginner hikes, which will occur at different places and times in the coming weeks. For tomorrow, meet at the Scout Valley Regan House parking lot, Line 15, a few minutes before 10 a.m.
The trail is like soft sugar on firmer tramped foot-bed and should be walkable with sturdy boots. For further information, call 705-325-1065.
