NEWS RELEASE
ORILLIA PUBLIC LIBRARY

There are few events that foster community, creativity and camaraderie as much as a good Open Mic.

Last December, the Orillia Public Library (OPL) held an outstanding after-hours Acoustic Open Mic, which had local musical talent coming out of the woodwork.

With more than 80 people in attendance, over 20 performers, excellent sound, a professional host and a wide assortment of local craft beers and ciders being served, it was certainly a night to remember.

The OPL is back at it again this year, and expectations are high for another exceptional evening of acoustic music.

This fun, free, 19+ event is set for Friday evening with the doors opening and sign-up beginning at 6:30 p.m. The music will begin at 7 p.m.

Please call the library at 705-325-2556 or email [email protected] for more information.
